Soda Ash or Sodium Carbonate is a cost effective option for increasing the pH and alkalinity of water to make it less corrosive as well as to aid the removal of iron, manganese and particulates during flocculation. It is most commonly dissolved into a solution and dosed by means of a dosing pump.
Soda Ash Light is also commonly used as a natural cleaning agent or in the manufacture of household cleaning products and for fabric dyeing.
We source our soda ash from mines in Botswana which is far less detrimental to the environment than manufactured soda ash imported from the East.
Soda Ash is an aggressive alkali and appropriate care should be taken when storing and working with the product.
