Aluminum sulfate is commonly used as a coagulant in water treatment and purification. When added to water, it causes microscopic impurities to clump together to form larger particles which settle to the bottom of the tank or container. On the same principle, aluminum sulfate is also sometimes used in swimming pools to decrease the cloudiness of the water.
Alufloc is an Aluminium Sulphate solution with a consistent concentration for consistent results. Alufloc requires a pH of 6.5-7.5 for best results.
